When I joined I was looking for a role where I could utilise my recruitment experience but in a non-billing and slightly less pressurised role. I still felt I had a lot to offer and working here has allowed me to still feel actively involved in the recruitment process but I get to leave all the stress and strain to the others. Despite now working in a support capacity I feel constantly valued and this is shown by the number of activities the Management organise. I am probably one of the quieter ones in the office but this hasn’t stopped me feeling like a really important part of the London team.
Having done my “apprenticeship” at Hays I came to work with Marc and Lawrence nearly 12 years ago.
In that time I can quite honestly say that I have never once thought of leaving. Of course I have tough days (and weeks) , all recruiters do but there is nowhere else I would rather be and no other group of people I would want to help me through these times.
I have been taken to Vegas (three times) , Milan, Orlando and Lapland in that time as well as hundreds of our customary month ends. I have seen the business grow from 4 of us to nearly 70 of us but can quite honestly say in this time it has never lost the small company (family) feel that I bought in to nearly 10 years ago.
You will have huge determination and ambition to succeed and have excellent communication skills both verbally and written and have the ability to build relationships with clients and candidates.
Ideally you will have previous sales experience and be used to working within a pressurised environment, however you may be a graduate or a raw trainee aspiring to be the best.
